39 Miles to Vanderpool .......

Today's ride was actually lots of fun. Our guide had built it up as being really difficult. There were 3 major climbs with ~10% grade but some fun downhills as well. The road surface was better than we've had. It was drizzly, so we had to be careful on the downhills. I think my maximum speed was 39 mph.

I actually saw an ostrich today but it was behind a fence, so maybe it was someone's pet.

We're at the Fox Fire Cabins tonight. There are 3 of us in each cabin. We haven't had any cell coverage for 2 days, but we do have Wifi.
